quality of life is comfortable at this point, to say the least, and i don’t really want to go into a long in-depth word vomit on this blog or anything but to keep it simple: i have achieved financial stability for the first time in my life, and i can finally sit down and focus completely on my art

i have ordered a tablet (bc mine is kaput) and will be wading through my little backlog more or less stress-free, finally, after it arrives in 5-10 days

i will write something more coherent when it’s not 3:30 in the morning and i’m not crying but it was pointed out that @mephedup had not come online in a few days. i googled his name and learned that on the 8th, he was struck by a young driver and is no longer with us. i know a lot of his friends and guild mates follow me and i don’t know how to offer any sort of closure on this because i’m still coming to grips with it but i would like to ensure those close to him are aware and not left wondering
updated with correct information and also adding a link to the obituary proper, where condolences can also be left, instead of some cold news article
